From the series "wonderland" - Sandra Miranda Pattin I haven’t updated this blog for so long, I realized now I’ve been busy changing priorities and investing a lot in growing, growing not only professionally and that is one of the reflections I want to make today but also growing spiritually (don’t judge the word too much I’m not in a monastery or doing any esoteric practices). I’ve done many projects I could list them here but then I know people doesn’t invest more than 3 minutes – average - in reading something online unless is really interesting, so I won’t list them, I will however tell you that for reasons that I see as a gift from life I have understood that the most important priority of all is to search your own happiness regardless the recognition you can have for the hard work, from the art world. Frieze Art Fair, Cildo Meireles and other stories !!

Cildo Meireles Lin Tianmiao - Mother Back from Colombia, having decided to actually spend most of the year there, I'm working on a new big project! I won't tell until is done so you can expect a surprise! I'm very pleased to know that I will be able to taste my culture again. Will be around in Italy for 3 or 4 months of the year, will curate only the International Projects for the Florence Biennale as well as the Biennale series of catalogues for artists. I will be head of the international committee for another project in Sardinia, meaning I will be back in Colombia but still keeping strong my contacts here in Europe!. I've been traveling around and most recently I have been in London for the Frieze Art Fair which I enjoyed very much, as usual a lot of good work and other pieces that I didn't appreciate much, certainly I have to say the sculpture park was not my favorite!. 2+2=5 llot C'è una sorta di identità indefinita che ci fa quasi girare la testa, nell'era del postmodernismo abbiamo davvero troppi ingredienti per cucinare e spesso ci ritroviamo senza sapere come metterli insieme. Siamo in una fase di sperimentazione, un laboratorio di ricerca, un progetto in fase transitoria, ci siamo incamminati verso la ricerca della nostra identità che non appartiene più al passato ma troppo al futuro e nel frattempo il presente si riempie di cosi tanta informazione che ci sentiamo eccessivamente sazi. In questa ricerca, ci nascono delle accelerazioni interessanti, spesso i creativi cercano di mettere insieme le varie discipline, di far funzionare anche le cose più opposte in un solo momentum per reinterpretare questa identità che non si lascia prendere che ci sfugge fra le dita.
